Kazoo respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information.

 

We collect information necessary to provide the service, including:

1. Name and email address for account creation

2. Profile information you choose to provide

3. Content you create within communities (posts, messages, responses)

4. Basic usage data to improve app functionality

We use your information to:

1. Provide and operate the Kazoo platform

2. Enable participation in communities and interactions with other users

3. Improve features, including AI-assisted community functionality

4. Maintain safety and prevent misuse

 

Kazoo uses AI to facilitate interactions between users (e.g., suggesting connections, prompting discussions).
The AI is not designed for personal or professional relationships with users, and does not make automated decisions that have legal or significant personal impact.

 

We do not sell your personal data. Information may be shared:

1. With other users within your community as part of normal app functionality

2. With service providers necessary to operate the app (e.g., hosting infrastructure)

3. We do not use personal data for advertising or sell data to third parties.

 

The Kazoo App allows complete data deletion upon request to support or by deleting your account in the app.  We retain user data only as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain safety, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Users may request deletion of their account and associated personal data by contacting support@kazooapp.ai or through in-app account settings.  Data is only used for app functionality and safety.  Any service providers or third parties with access to user data are required to provide the same or equal protection of user data as described in this policy.

 

Users can block other users to prevent further contact or interaction within the platform.  Users can manage interactions, including blocking and reporting, directly within the app interface.  Kazoo provides in-app reporting tools for content and user behavior, and reported items are reviewed promptly by Kazoo.

 

Contact/support information is available within the app and in App Store metadata.

Content you post may be visible to other members of your community.
You are responsible for what you share.

We take reasonable measures to protect your information.  You may:

1. Update or delete your account information

2. Request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us

 

Kazoo is not intended for children under 13.

We may update this policy from time to time.
